About SPAT

The Sound Preservation Association of Tasmania (SPAT) works to preserve Tasmania’s unique audio history. We are a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation made up of like-minded people whose interests and aims are to identify, collect, and preserve recorded sound, equipment, literature, memorabilia and oral histories related to Tasmania’s past, present and future. We rely on our members, volunteers, and donors to support our mission.
